Check a brief and build a table of authorities

Open Brief check, upload a PDF or Word brief (or paste text). Brief checks are unlimited on every plan. LegiMatch checks every citation:

• Good law: red/yellow flags with the reason.
• Case name mismatch: the name in your brief doesn't match the decision at that citation (a common sign of a wrong or AI-invented citation).
• Quote check: quoted language is searched in the actual opinion, and its page is compared with your pin cite.
• Pin cite range, year and court in the parenthetical.
• Not in coverage: we don't hold it yet. This does not mean it is wrong; verify it.

You also get a table of authorities (cases, statutes, rules with page numbers; PDFs give exact pages) and suggestions: authorities your authorities rely on. Export to PDF or Word.
