Getting started: find cases that match your facts

1. Open Research and describe your matter in a few paragraphs (facts, claims, procedural posture), or upload a complaint, petition, brief or memo (PDF, DOCX or TXT).
2. Click Analyze matter (free). LegiMatch extracts the facts, legal issues, statutes and jurisdiction. Edit anything that is wrong. This step costs no credits.
3. Click Find similar cases (1 AI credit; once your AI credits are used, searches continue free with standard matching). You get up to 100 past decisions ranked by a match % (sort by newest first if you prefer), each with the outcome, good-law flag and a Bluebook citation. The top 10 also get a written explanation and pinpoint passages; more results load as you scroll.
4. Open any result to read the full opinion, highlight passages, add notes, save it to a matter or download it as PDF/Word.

Tip: replace client names with roles (Plaintiff, Employer). Personal identifiers are redacted automatically if redaction is on (Settings → Privacy).
