LegiMatch reads how later decisions in our database treat each case:

• Red: overruled, reversed, abrogated or superseded (by a court with authority to do so, or reported as such in a later decision's history).
• Yellow: criticized, questioned or limited, or negative language from a court that may not bind it.
• Green: followed by later decisions, nothing negative found.
• No flag: only neutral citations, or none in our database yet.

Open a case and choose Citing references to see every later decision with its treatment and the exact sentence it is based on. Flags depend on our coverage; always confirm before filing.
